Miss Eden has made her way to the available page! After being sprung from the local shelter, she found herself with FBRN. Now she is ready to wiggle her way into the heart of her forever home.
Eden has allergies. In fact, she is allergic to cats and must never be around them. Eden has several other allergies and those require her to be on a special diet with Canine Caviar. Her forever home must be willing to feed her this diet and continue her regular supplements from Nature's Farmacy, as well as her regular Cytopoint injections. Eden does have a history of UTI and needs to be monitored for recurrence. If that wasn't enough for a girl to handle, she also appears to be developing cataracts and has impaired vision. Eden has shown signs of separation anxiety.
The good news with Eden is that after a few minutes of introductions she seems to love everyone she meets. She doesn't mind other dogs or kids. Most of all Eden loves her beauty rest. However, one were to offer her a ride or a walk, she would not object to going along with her humans. She does love her people and has shown some signs of separation anxiety, especially if left all alone. If you want a shadow or someone who is going to be near you most of the time, then Eden is the girl for you.
Eden is a proper lady and is housebroken. She might know some commands and definitely knows to sit for treats. True to Frenchie fashion, this lady isn't overly good at listening to commands. Her favorite things to do are ride in the car and snuggle. Eden might chew on a bone here or there, but doesn't always need to have one.
Eden will need a home that understands allergies and is devoted to continuing her special care. She would do well in a quieter home, as this girl might be a bit older than was reported. Her age is an estimate. This girl would thrive with someone who was home most of the day so that she would have company. Her ideal family should offer walks and rides, and be willing to be home with her more often than not. It is possible that Eden could adjust to going to the office with someone.
Eden's foster mom had this to say about her: "Eden was in a shelter local to her foster family. She seems to recognize places and things like cows. It would be nice to keep her in a rural/small town setting. She loves belly rubs and laying on or near her human."
If you are looking for a companion to be by your side and spend time with then Eden is your girl. You must love dogs, walks, and leisurely Sunday drives in which Eden could accompany you. If you think you would be a perfect fit for her, then all you need to do is fill out an application and be ready to pick Eden up if you are selected. Foster mom doesn't think Eden would do well in a plane, but she loves to ride in a car!
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo. Except in rare or unusual cases, adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family. In rare or unusual cases, FBRN may be able to assist in transporting a dog to a volunteer near the adopter's home, but the expense of transporting the dog must be the responsibility of the adopting party.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people's private homes. For the foster families' safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don't set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
