“Hashbrown is a wonderful and loving dog. He has gone camping with us and loves to try new things. Hashbrown loves to go on walks around the neighborhood, sniffing and exploring everything he can find. He has lots of energy that he loves to share by playing with family members or other dogs. Hashbrown loves to snuggle up on the floor or the couch, especially at night.”

Hold on to your hats folks, the handsome pup Hashbrown has made his way to the available page! This lively little potato found himself in foster care when his family realized they didn’t have the time to properly care for him.

Hashbrown is a young dog with loads of puppy energy. This sweet boy is no couch potato! He can frequently be spotted exploring his neighborhood on his twice daily walks. He loves to play with his humans or doggie friends and will happily engage you in a game of fetch. He’s highly excitable and is prone to jumping; in fact he’s been known to knock down a small child or two in order to smother their faces with Frenchie kisses. He’s also super smart and knows how to rearrange the kitchen chairs so he can jump up on the table! He is a chewer and considers anything not tied down fair game. For these reasons he would do best with a dog experienced family (preferably older children) who can provide a structured environment and consistency.

Hashbrown is potty trained; in fact he’s never had an accident in the house! He sleeps in his crate at night and when his humans are out of the house. His ideal family would be active and provide him plenty of opportunity to expend all of that puppy energy. According to foster mom, Hashbrown is smart (and stubborn) and responds well to positive reinforcement. His new family should be committed to continue working on his manners with obedience training.

We think Hashbrown would do well in any type of home as long as he’s provided plenty of exercise; otherwise this guy will look for trouble. A more active family who enjoys daily walks would be ideal. Hashbrown might also enjoy a canine companion to romp and play with. Hashbrown could accompany you to the office as long as everything is tied down so that he can’t get into trouble by chewing on things.

This is what Hashbrown’s foster mom has to say, “Hashbrown is a wonderful and loving dog.

If this adorable little ball of energy sounds like the dog for you then fill out an application and prepare to travel. At 32 pounds Hashbrown is too big to fly, but wouldn’t mind taking a road trip. FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.

FBRN dogs are in foster care in people's private homes. For the foster families' safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don't set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.

ABOUT HASHBROWN:
Hashbrown is an energetic young dog who would benefit from obedience training. He has a history of skin and ear infections that must be monitored for recurrence.
