"Sushi is one of the sweetest Frenchies I've met.
It will truly be sad to see her go. But she is such a great girl and lives for affection and gives it in return. She has been a true joy. When I come home and she brings her pet stuffed ram to the door to greet me (which I named Ronny)--its the best! Would be a fantastic addition to any home."

Konnichiwa from the delicious Sushi. This delectable girl has made her way onto the available page. Sushi was surrendered to FBRN because her previous home did not have the time to provide the quality of life she deserved. Since being surrendered, she has spent her time living the city life with her foster family.

The amazing thing about Sushi, is that she doesn't have any medical problems. The vet mentioned that there might be a joint problem in her back leg. If you are over 40, a similar joint problem may well be true of you, too. There are no special diets, no allergies, and no special medical needs for this girl. Sushi also has not exhibited any temperament issues or resource guarding issues.

Sushi has been sweet around children. She hasn't been around cats, so it is unknown how she would act with one. She is like most any Frenchie when it comes to meeting other dogs, she might bark when they approach but then chills out and becomes friendly/aloof with them.

Sushi seems to like to loaf around or cuddle with her human. As most Frenchies love to do, Sushi loves to find sunbeams to bask in while loafing around. She's a bit of an older gal, so she's fine with a short romp around the neighborhood and then getting back to loafing. She has a lovely temperament, is bright, and is the sweetest girl you will meet. Sushi does have a favorite toy. As a matter of fact, it's almost as though he's her pet. It's a stuffed ram and boy, does this girl love him. Sushi won't pass up a treat or a chew stick either.

Sushi is housebroken. Aside from a few accidents the first day she came to her foster home, she knows how to tell her humans she needs to go out and do her thing. Sushi would be fine with a first time Frenchie owner. She would be good with a family, and would be in heaven with all of the attention from humans. Sushi could adapt to either an apartment or a house. She typically goes out mornings, sometimes gets a walk in at noon, and always out in the evening. When it comes to going to the office with her human, Sushi would most likely be appointed CEO after a short time.

Sushi's foster home had this to say about her: "Sushi is one of the sweetest Frenchies I've met. It will truly be sad to see her go. But she is such a great girl and lives for affection and gives it in return. She has been a true joy. When I come home and she brings her pet stuffed ram to the door to greet me (which I named Ronny)--its the best! Would be a fantastic addition to any home."

If you're in the market for a delicious addition to the family and have plenty of sunbeams at home, then consider adopting Sushi. All you need to do is fill out the application and be ready to pick her up near our nation's capitol if you are selected to be her forever home. Arigatō

FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.

FBRN dogs are in foster care in people's private homes. For the foster families' safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don't set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
