Queen bee Tristessa is ready to find the perfect forever home! If you are looking for a sweet girl to spoil with love and cuddles, she could be the one for you!
Tristessa loves every single person she meets and does well with children. Her favorite thing to do is get her beauty rest on a comfy spot on the couch. She gets along well with other dogs that are submissive and she likes kitties, too. Since Tessa loves spending time with her people above all else, she can be adopted by a family that does not have any other dogs.
The perfect home for Tristessa will have a fenced yard. She can live with a family that has children, cats, and other submissive dogs. The most important thing her family needs to have is time to give her the love she deserves. Tessa can stay home during the day while her family is out, but she needs to be kept on a potty schedule with a midday break to prevent accidents. She is house trained but if she is not kept on a schedule she may have an accident. Getting accustomed to the schedule and the changes in a new home may cause accidents, and adopters should be prepared for some backsliding in the housebreaking department. Tessa would love if her new family had someone that was home with her all day, but she would also be a great dog to bring with you to the office. She just needs a comfy spot to sleep on next to you while you work.
Tessa arrived in foster care with a skin infection that is still being treated. Her new family must continue treatment which consists of a medicated bath one to two times per week.
Tristessa's foster family had this to share about her, "Tessa needs a family that will give her all the love she deserves. She has been neglected in the past and deserves a great future."
If you would like to adopt Tristessa, please be prepared to travel. She is being fostered in Eastern MO and will not be shipped.
FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo. Adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family. In rare or unusual cases, FBRN may be able to assist in transporting a dog to a volunteer near the adopter's home, but the expense of transporting the dog must be the responsibility of the adopting party.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people's private homes. For the foster families' safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don't set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
I'm so glad that her highness found her way to you. Here's a little something to help with the royal jewels. Christopher Johnson
