"Winston loves his humans and he loves to be with them or at least know where they are at all times. He does very well outside off of a leash. He likes to run and get some exercise but he will also stay very close to his human. He is a very sweet boy and he deserves a loving home where he can be with his humans to make him happy.”

Winston is ready to find his forever home! This handsome pied boy was surrendered by his previous owners. Winston is what we call a Velcro Frenchie, meaning that he must be stuck to his favorite people all the time! He is happiest when his people are at home and he can keep an eye on them while he chews on his favorite Nylabone or runs around in the backyard to get his zoomies out.

Winston is very submissive and just wants to be around his favorite people as much as possible. He is also a very good boy and knows his simple commands like "sit" and "stay." Winston is crate trained, but he is no longer crated in his foster home due to his separation anxiety. He gets so nervous when it's time to go into the crate and his foster family has decided that crating him isn’t necessary. Winston is housebroken, but due to his separation anxiety, he will potty inside when he is left alone. Did we mention that Winston just really doesn't like to be alone!

The perfect home for Winston is with a family or person that is home all day. Any folks lucky enough to have an employer allowing dogs on the job (to oversee the daily duties, of course) would be ideal for sweet Winston. Winston loves to go for car rides, but he shouldn’t be left alone in the car. Winston would do just fine in any type of home as long as he is not left at home alone.

Winston's foster family has this to share about him, "Winston is a very sweet and loving dog. He has major separation anxiety issues when left alone. He needs a home where someone will be able to be with him almost all of the time. He would also do well with someone who could have him registered as an emotional support dog so he could always be with them. If left alone for an extended period of time he will use the bathroom in a crate or in whatever area he is in. Winston loves his humans and he loves to be with them or at least know where they are at all times. He does very well outside off of a leash. He likes to run and get some exercise but he will also stay very close to his human. He is a very sweet boy and he deserves a loving home where he can be with his humans to make him happy.”

If you think you have the perfect home for sweet Winston, then please apply today. Since Winston loves car rides, and we are not sure how he would do on an airplane, his new family will need to come pick him up via a road trip. Winston is being fostered in North Carolina and will not be shipped.

FBRN dogs are in foster care in people's private homes. For the foster families' safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don't set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
