At 8 years of age, Busti (pronounced Bust-eye) has found himself in the awesome hands of FBRN. He was an owner surrender after reportedly needing costly ear surgery which his previous owner could not afford. This adorable butterball weighs in at a whopping 34 pounds but tips the adorable scales at immeasurable cuteness.
Busti arrived with some right-sided facial droop and a head tilt. The vet says he has some facial nerve paralysis with possible equilibrium problems. While these changes are permanent, foster mom says it doesn't seem to make him uncomfortable. His blood was sent for allergy testing as he has been scratching a lot. Unlike some dogs we've taken into care with ear problems, his ears looked decent with just a little something in his left which was also sent for testing. He is reported to be good with cats, dogs, and kids, so watch out for this triple threat as his foster learns more about him as he makes his way to the available page.
Busti's bank account is bust so if you have a few bucks to spare, he would love to see his savings grow! Click on his irresistible mug to sponsor him. I bet he'd love to see if he receives any messages of encouragement from his namesake: Busti, NY. Ready, set, go!
