The holidays may be long past, but we are having visions of sugar plums dancing and a sudden craving for pudding since our newest foster, Figgie, arrived. Figgie is eight years old and just as sweet as his name implies. His journey to us is very tragic in that his owner lost their home to the fires in California. Figgie has been living at a boarding facility for a month and we’re very fortunate to have welcomed him into our FBRN family. He has so much cheer to bring to a special family.
Figgie has truly been a champ during his transition to foster care. He was great on the car ride to his foster home, has shown excellent potty-trained skills, and never whines or barks at other dogs even when nearby. Figgie did arrive with a large mass on his paw that is being checked out and treated. Send all the healing vibes to Figgie!
As Figgie adjusts to foster life and works to get a clean bill of health from the vet, he’ll benefit greatly from your help. Please click the link to donate or leave a word of encouragement for Figgie. He might just learn to belt out a line or two from a Christmas carol to say a merry thank you!
