Fizzgig has a recurring cough that turned out to be advanced heart failure. With medications he is feeling better, but will live out his life in the comfort of his foster home.

What's sweet and bubbly and better with age? FBRN's newest senior Frenchie, Fizzgig! At nine years old, Mr. Fizzy, as his new 10-year-old foster brother likes to call him, was surrendered by a family who already had dogs, cats and young children. They made the right decision to give Fizzball (think of all the nickname possibilities!) the best chance at finding a more suitable family.

So far Fizzgig doesn't really appreciate dogs or cats, but he absolutely LOVES his humans: sitting on your lap or at you feet, rolling over to show you his belly, or crawling under your arm to get closer to you. Given that he loves affection, he doesn't do well with separation and is on a medication to help with his anxiety. Other than a cataract in one eye, he seems to be quite healthy and spry for a senior. He loves to play ball, run around, and perhaps bulldoze through baby gates to get to his people.

If you received any of those darn pennies at the bottom of your Halloween trick or treat bag, please consider sponsoring Fizzgig on his quest to finding his perfect family. Click on the link and comment with some of your favorite nicknames for the Fizzmeister!

Sweet boy! Hope you get well and find your forever home soon. From one brindle Frenchie to another - xo Erica, Chris & Jameson
