Let's give a giant howdy ho to everyone's favorite pied fawn, our potato dumplin', Gnocchi! He just celebrated his 9th birthday on Mardi Gras!

He was surrendered to FBRN when his human developed an allergy to Gnocchi. We are happy that Gnocchi made the drive from the OC up to NoCal without incident, so that bodes well for a placement with road trip involved!

So far, while getting settled into his foster home at a snail's pace--slow intros are the way to go--Gnocchi has gone on several walks around the neighborhood with his foster siblings. He is still quite energetic for a 9-year-old boy. Gnocchi has an independent spirit and he has shown some resource guarding with food and his space. He doesn't snap or bite, he will just throw out a lip curl and give you a whale eye. Since Gnocchi is settled into his ways, his foster mom thinks management of this behavior will be better than trying to break old habits. Gnocchi likes attention and scritches, but he has yet to seek out snuggles from his foster humans. He will do anything for a snack and eats like a champ.

If you have an extra dollar or two to throw to Gnocchi for some snacks, all you need to do is click on the link to sponsor him.Thank you!

Hope he gets some delicious treats! David
