Some guys have all the luck, don’t they? Our Ivan was first surrendered due to his owner’s health. He was adopted, but he came back to us when his new owners divorced. He was adopted again, but he escaped the yard and had an altercation with another dog. Here's a teaching moment--don't leave your dog unsupervised in the yard. Take a few minutes to enjoy a cup of tea and coffee and watch your bug-eyed beast do some zoomies. It's good for both of you. Though Ivan took advantage of an opportunity to seek some mischief, he is a good guy who just wants to love.
His foster mama is working with him and her English bulldogs with slow introductions, and he is slowly learning to be more sociable. He has absolutely no issues with people, though: going for walks and car rides are his favorites, and he is crate and house-trained. He knows some basics, like sit, stay, come, and leave it. He loves the human kids he is currently living with, and loves to make people laugh. At 7 years old, he is considered a senior, but he is still active and spry, although he has mild allergies that are being treated with medication and diet. If you’d like to support him while he waits for his forever home, click on his picture to sponsor Ivan! Thank you! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, Ivan. I'm happy that you have a loving foster mom & I have high hopes that 2017 will bring you a forever home. We will check back to see how you are doing. Much love, D & Al Olsen-Kozub
