Welcome to FBRN’s newest foster, Silas! He looks great for his almost eight years of age and his bright, inquisitive face is enough to make anyone swoon! Unfortunately, this handsome fella is going to need some extra lovin’ before he can find his forever family.
Silas has anxiety which is magnified during car rides and being crated. His first night with his foster family was spent in the ER after Silas started having trouble breathing following a bout of anxiety while in his crate.
Silas was surrendered to FBRN due to losing function in his rear legs. Treatment for that required an expensive surgery. If the anxiety and mobility issues weren’t enough, Silas will also need to be neutered and have a soft palate consultation. Silas has all the Frenchie problems people are warned against before getting a Frenchie, it seems. The poor guy.
Despite his many medical stumbling blocks, Silas is settling into his foster family's life and home quite nicely. He loves squishing his 30lbs into the smaller bed available and chewing on his bone! It’s going to be a long road for Silas and this chunky boy needs our help! If you would like to sponsor Silas, please click the link next to his sweet face. Thank you!
