It's raining puppies at FBRN! Five-month-old Joey was surrendered by his former owner and breeder due to a reported leg injury. He appears to have a skeletal deformity that causes him to hop. It's also possible that he has hydrocephalus. We will know more after this sweet boy is settled enough for a proper veterinary evaluation.

Joey had a trip to the emergency vet when he first arrived in foster care. He had tapeworms, a cough, and he wasn’t interested in eating. After receiving fluids and medication, Joey is feeling like a whole new frog! He's now eating "like a champ" and his personality is beginning to come out. According to his foster mom, Joey is quite a character! He enjoys playing with bones, chew toys, and stuffed animals. He sleeps well in a crate and is quiet inside his play pen. With a new lease on life, this baby frog can begin working on his manners. Joey isn't house broken but has used pee pads. Foster mom is working on teaching him that outside is where he goes to the bathroom!

Down on his luck, and without a penny to his name, little Joey could use some help getting back on his feet. To sponsor him, please click the link above. Joey would be so appreciative and send a big kiss with that adorable puppy breath!
