Delicious little Charlotte is ready to be enjoyed. Like the filling in the center of a delectable Charlotte Russe, she is a sweet dollop of cream. Ready to greet the world, she is looking for a home where all her potential will be realized and she will be loved forever. Younger than most breeder retirees, she is only two years old and has so much life yet to enjoy.

A blend of all the ingredients that make Frenchies such a treat, Charlotte is busy, busy as befits her youth. She is ready to romp whenever she can find a willing playmate, fur or human. With wholesome, healthy play and moderate exercise she will be able to maintain her pretty figure. But, she also loves to lounge about and snuggle. She really enjoys her people! And, speaking of treats, Charlotte is a smart cookie and is very food motivated. An obedience class would be a wonderful way to bond with her and enhance her training beyond the basic “sit”.

The gregarious Charlotte doesn’t take long to make new human friends. She takes to folks right away. She should be fine in a home with older children, as long as they are respectful of a little frog. She would love the social aspect of being a go-to-work-companion, although she might be a little too playful for a quiet, conservative workplace. If your grey-suited boss says “Enough” you need to have an alternate plan. Because housebreaking is a newly learned skill, she will need at least a mid-day-break, although someone at home during the day to reinforce what she has learned would be best. She is doing great, so much better than when she first came to foster care. But, Charlotte still needs to go out often to stay accident-free. With her background, “out” should be in a secure fenced yard so she can sunbathe and kick up her heels, her past forgotten. While you are gone, she is crate trained and will stay quietly. She only kicks up a little fuss when she can still see her people.

Sweet as she is, Charlotte is a Frenchie girl nonetheless. She is a dominant female and it takes her longer to warm up to new canine friends. New pals should be the same size and be willing to submit. She is the leader of the pack and will not give up that spot. He foster siblings are perfectly okay with that, and she adores playing with them.

If you have done your homework and understand what Frenchies need to stay happy and healthy, you do not have to have prior experience to be Charlotte’s forever family. You’ll need a nice big toy box full of Nylabones, ropes and stuffies and a big heart full of love for a smooshed face dog. Charlotte’s foster mom tells us a little bit more saying, “Charlotte is a very sweet and loving little girl who wants nothing more than to love and be loved in return! She is very cuddly and sweet! She is a cuddle bug who loves to play and be adored! She loves to lie in bed with her person at night. Even if she doesn’t sleep there, she wants to hang out before going to sleep. She needs lots of attention from her person. She wants to know how important she is to you. If you let her, she’ll be the light in your life!”

Delectable, desirable, need we say more? Charlotte is enough to satisfy the most persistent Frenchie craving. Charlotte will have a nice dessert packed for the ride home. You will have to pick her up in person in Colorado, as she will not be shipped.
