Kingsley is a bouncing brindle boy who was purchased from a midwestern puppy mill by a couple who quickly realized that they simply didn’t have the time nor the energy to keep up with an energetic puppy. Kingsley’s been neutered, has no health problems, is about as perfect as they come, and is now ready to begin the search for his forever home!

This froglette is all puppy! He’s a happy kid who loves squeaky toys and wrassling with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Kingsley is also kitty-friendly! He enjoys playing with the resident cat in his foster home, so any forever home with a dog-savvy feline willing to put up with the chaos a puppy brings will be fine. Don’t think Kingsley is one of those hyperactive puppies who doesn’t know when to quit...No sir! Young Kingsley definitely has an off switch. His foster mom reports that he loves to curl up in her lap or nap next to his doggy foster sibling.

Kingsley is a total love sponge. He’s a 'go with the flow', easygoing baby who adjusts well to almost any situation. He’s been great with everyone he’s met, including kindergarten age children. Kingsley would be a fabulous addition to any family, experienced or first time Frenchie folks alike!

Kingsley has no temperament issues except that he is a stubborn puppy. He can be submissive with both humans and other dogs. He will sometimes give a little growl when his canine foster sibling tries to take a toy from him but it never escalates to anything further. Kingsley’s forever family should be willing to be patient with a new puppy learning his way in the world, and be committed to obedience training for his long term safety and happiness.

The ideal home for Kingsley would be either a large apartment or a house with a fenced yard. Kingsley is a young, active puppy who enjoys a good zoomie run a couple of times a day.

Housebreaking is still a work in progress. Kingsley’s foster mom says he’s 98% there. He’s crate-trained and has never had an accident inside his crate, but has had a few piddling accidents while free. He sleeps in his crate and is pretty quiet. A person who is home most of the time would be preferable to continue Kingsley’s housebreaking progress. However, a family who works but is able to offer him a mid-day break would be reasonable also. Kingsley loves people and depending on your office environment could potentially adjust to accompanying his person to work.

Here are a few words from Kingsley’s foster family: Kingsley is a great dog and he has been a joy to have in our house. He fit right in the minute he came here! He loves to wrestle with our dog and play with our cats. He has quiet time too, and at the end of the night he usually ends up in my lap or curled up next to our dog. There isn’t a mean bone in his body…he would rather lick you to death than anything else! He is housebroken and crate-trained but still loves to chew on things that he shouldn’t. He is a wonderful little guy and whoever gets him will fall in love!
