Shawnda was named by Peggie Malone in honor of her friend, Shawnda, who is an avid dog lover and a Southern Belle.

Shawnda, along with 9 other Frenchies, was confiscated during a drug bust at the puppy mill where she was born.

We haven't seen her around any kitties, but she is so young that she could probably learn to live with one, if the cat is dog-savvy. Kids must be old enough to be taught how to touch and handle a French bulldog, and be able to withstand the next two years of crazy puppy energy!

She's only 11 weeks old, so housetraining has only just begun, ditto crate-training.

Look out world! Shawnda is on the scene, and she is ready to take life by the horns! At just 11 weeks old, she is one cuddly, roly-poly, silly, funny bundle of puppy love. You can see it in her eyes—this baby girl is raring to go. When she's not running and wrestling, she just loves being held and getting lots and lots of kisses. A firecracker, miss Shawnda will keep you laughing and just light up your life. Like any puppy, Shawnda is full of mischief and is always looking for a good time, and she'll tell you all about it.

Because she's a tiny pup who needs a lot of time, socialization, and training in order to grow up to be the perfect canine citizen, preference will be given to homes where someone can be home all the time with Shawnda. She would also prefer to have a fenced yard so she can run to her little heart's content. This little monkey's perfect home would have an active canine playmate and a family that is willing to go, go, go and help her run out the ya-yas.
