"I'm sailing away
Set an open course for the virgin Sea
'Cause I've got to be free
Free to face the life that's ahead of me."
Styx is looking for a forever home to help her Come Sail Away! A breeder that was downsizing surrendered Styx and a few other Frenchies so that they could be happy family pets. Styx was well taken care of, and is now spayed and looking for the perfect forever home to sing along with her on those big hair band songs.
Styx likes to play: she will chase a ball and loves Nyla-toys of any type. She is not a couch potato, but a medium-length daily walk will keep her happy. She loves to wrestle, cuddle, go for walks -- she is a great explorer and is very curious!
She is currently living with 3 other dogs, and enjoys their company. She is great with other dogs and she has met many of different shapes and sizes. If there are no other dogs in the house, she should be not left alone for long periods, as she would be very lonely and unhappy. Styx loves kids and activity, so a busy family would be good for her as well. Styx has not been exposed to cats, so we will say no to feline homes, for the kitties safety.
Styx is housebroken, and has used a crate in the past. She would be fine in any type of house or apartment. She walks well on a leash so a fenced yard is not required as long as adopters understand that she must not be allowed to roam freely. During the day, Styx would love to be your office dog! She says, “I know Sit, and Come and No.” We think a mid-day break from a dog walker would be fine, but we’d love for her to get all of the wonderful attention she deserves.
Her foster mom says, “Styx is a fun-loving, goofy girl who would make a welcome addition to any family. She thrives on activity so kids and other dogs would be a plus! She loves watching TV in front of a fire or wrestling on the couch! She deserves a GREAT forever home!”
Styx is enjoying the northern nightlife in Toronto. She will not be shipped.
"A gathering of Angels appeared above my head,
They sang to me this song of hope and this is what they said,
They said, "Come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with me lads,
Come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with me!”
