Betty Paige was surrendered by an owner that could not keep up with her medical needs. Poor Betty has chronic generalized Demodectic mange, a disease brought on by a suppressed immune system. Treatment is a long and expensive process for these cases, so we expect Betty to need lots of time, medication and vet visits over the next 6-8 months. We hope that she will respond to treatment, and it’s possible that she can be cured of her sore and itchy skin condition.
Her foster Mom notes that Betty is as sweet as can be! She is 3 years old and unspayed. Hopefully, her health will improve so that eventually she can be spayed and go Available, but there are a lot of needs between now and then. Can you spare some good thoughts for this sweet Frenchie? Do you have even a little something to help pay for her treatment plan? Betty would love to hear from you. Just click the donation button and tell us you want to help Betty feel better.
