Biddy is a six to seven year old cream lass so named because she struts her tiny self around like a proud little biddy hen. A former breeder in a commercial facility, we are happy to know she kept her self esteem intact all those years!
Biddy is 19 lbs and now that she is clean we can see that she is quite beautiful with a stubborn little undershot jaw that shows off her little pink tongue. If she is six years old, it's a young six; she does not act old (or dignified, LOL!) Biddy is quite a little character. She wasted no time grabbing stuffies, then settled down with a nice bone. She had a small altercation with a foster dog brother over 'his' hedgehog, and we’ll tell you what - she did not care one iota that he outweighed her by 10 lbs. Once she secured the toy she used her elevated place on the sofa to taunt him. This was a tactical mistake and she quickly found herself booted to the floor sans toy. Humph. It’s tough to be a diva in foster care these days.
Biddy is heartworm negative, but she's on Panacur due to the probability of intestinal parasites. Her ears are very yeasty. She has stenotic nares, so she may need those opened up to help her breathe easily. Biddy has some hurdles to clear before she finds her way home but what she’s got – she’s got in spades. That’s attitude, pulchritude, and “don’t bug me if I’m not in the mood!”
If you have a soft spot for small dogs with chutzpah, take a minute to become Biddy’s sponsor. She is too proud to admit it, but she could use the help.
