Bluto has crossed the rainbow bridge
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but here at FBRN we think all our frogs are beautiful inside and out! Meet one of our newest additions, Bluto. Some might say he is not the cutest Frenchie on the block, but we have no doubt that his foster mom will be working hard with him to win the most handsome French bulldog award. Bluto is 6 years old, and has some issues to resolve while in his foster mother’s care. He is yet another in a long line of Frenchies we have seen with allergies that have spiraled out of control. Bluto has started on a course of antibiotics for a bacterial infection and prednisone for the inflammation. His vet will also be examining why he tilts his head to the side and why he sometimes drags his front leg. We know his foster mom will be getting him back to his normal self, although a little bit slimmer. Bluto is a big boy!
Bluto loves attention from people and adores belly rubs and ear and chin scratches. His foster mom tells us that he is tolerating the other Frenchies in the house and has started playing with them. He is reported to be housebroken, but like many dogs uprooted from their routine, he has had a few accidents while settling in.
