Caralee is a 7 year-old Frenchie who was surrendered by a breeder. This tiny brindle girl has had quite a few litters of pups and is ready to get in shape for her retirement. FBRN is thankful to have a wonderful group of volunteers, including the terrific foster home that took her in.
Caralee has a major vision impairment. We are going to see a specialist to determine what can be done for her, and how impaired her vision really is. She definitely has a hard time telling where you are, but you can tell when she sees you! She has some other minor issues that we will treat (ringworm, possible allergies, etc.) as she gets ready for her spay. A few days in the Frenchie spa will make her feel oh so much better.
The eye doctor will see you soon, Miss Caralee. Good luck with those maddening questions of “Which is better, 1 or 2?”, and gentle reminders from the youthful doctors that “Ladies of a certain age do tend to need reading glasses. “ If our gentle readers will help with those vet bills, you’ll have nothing to worry about at all.
