A French-speaking Frenchie named Haricot (pronounced air-ee-koh) has arrived with her daily schedule and calendar of appointments just in time for the beginning of summer. Haricot (which means Bean) is a bundle of pied Frenchie sunshine, fluent in both French (and we are hoping) English. Haricot is a four year old retired breeder, who within the last year suffered 3 compressed vertebrae for which she underwent spinal surgery. She is now paralyzed, but has regained some mobility with her go everywhere cart and the perseverance of her family.
Already her appointments with specialists fill her days and the schedules of her foster family. Within the first week in our care, Haricot visited her neurologist, primary care vet, and her own personal Frenchie chiropractor. Haricot is being fostered by an exceptional Frenchie loving foster family. If there is a chance for an improved prognosis we will do everything available to ensure the best results. This is what FBRN strives for, offering the best care and attention to the specific needs of all Frenchies entering our care. We help the helpless when their families are no longer emotionally or financially able. Please look at her sweet face and sense her desire to be mobile again; realize that your donation can make a difference. Hats off to Haricot, let's keep this girl rolling along!
