Please join us in welcoming Nanette to the growing family of FBRN fosters! Nanette is two and a half years old, and was surrendered to us because of conflicts she was having with her sister, with whom she had recently begun having to share a crate. Nanette is slowly settling into life in her foster home, and has begun her list of 2010 resolutions! First, her foster family is housetraining her, with the help of a doggy door and lots of treats and patience. Nanette is on a new diet, both to gain weight and treat her allergies, in the form of big itchy spots on her belly and armpits. Nanette is quite bossy, and shows human and resource guarding with other dogs. Her final New Year’s Resolution includes undergoing obedience training with the loving care and firm guidance of her foster family.
Improving her behavior, gaining weight, treating allergies, and housetraining—that is one long list of New Year’s resolutions for this young and affectionate girl! If your New Year’s resolution is to help Frenchies in need, then how about making a donation to Nanette’s care? Nanette’s allergies will require several vet visits, lab tests, and treatments, which don’t come cheap. To sponsor Nanette, just click on her photo to your right and leave some words of encouragement for her to stick to those resolutions for 2010. We are confident that with her foster family’s help and your donations, Nanette will soon be looking for a family of her own! |
