Nessa is a New York City girl with a fantastic can-do attitude that doesn’t let a little thing like a seizure disorder get in her way. She was surrendered because her loving owners couldn’t afford the cost of her care, or to pay for her medication long term. They came to this difficult, tearful decision when Nessa was admitted to the hospital recently after having two seizures in one day.

While at the hospital, Nessa ran around and played and kept all the other sick dogs cheerful. She is irrepressibly good natured – you just can’t keep this little frog down! With twice daily medication, vets say that Nessa’s prognosis is good. Her condition will be monitored closely while she’s in foster care.
