Everybody loves raspberries, no? And now FBRN has a Raspberry of our very own. This sweet and juicy little frog just turned two and was surrendered by someone who didn’t have the time for her due to a two-job schedule and no help. Raspberry is intact (for the time being) and is suffering from fleabite dermatitis with a secondary skin infection and a possible UTI. She also throws up, A LOT, so she was whisked off to the vet on day one. For Raspberry it’s not a matter of too much pie at the state fair, it’s something called GERD. Unlike a tricky diagnosis like Megaesophagus, GERD is completely manageable and could be an elongated soft palate/nares issue. We’ll verify the soft palate when she is spayed (once she’s feeling better) but the vet thinks it makes sense, as Raspberry is a very loud breather. We’ll know in a few days about the UTI – she drinks and drinks but never seems to pee. Maybe it’s because she is just so darn busy playing with her new foster sibs and kids – Raspberry loves children and seemingly every dog ever built (from Rottweilers to Chihuahuas!) She even likes kitties.

Yes everybody loves Raspberries, and apparently this Raspberry likes everybody back! This cutey fruitie is going to need a fair amount of fixing up before she is ready for the FBRN fruit stand. Please click on her sweet face and become her sponsor!

Tomorrow is my girlfriend Kellyn's birthday, so I'd like to donate to Raspberry as a birthday gift. Ian Hall

Our Frenchie, Bailey, heard about Raspberry and wanted to send best wishes. He stayed at UT for a whole week once and said it was the best. Bailey and Trooper Trent
