Riley was sadly surrendered when his loving mother realized that she couldn’t give him the time and attention this energetic puppy needed. Riley is a 9 month-old bubbly and bouncy cream boy. His behavior is still very puppy-like, even if he is quite a big boy by Frenchie standards! Riley is happy and eager to please, but needs some patience and guidance to smooth out his tendency to vie for top dog status. In foster care, Riley will learn the A's B's, and C's of being a civilized frogdog, and will undergo some much-needed obedience training and socialization with people and pooches alike. Riley is craving some structure and direction, and we are confident that with a little help Riley will make a fine companion for a person or family in the near future.
Riley is temporarily being fostered by one of our volunteers, an elementary school teacher. His foster mom knows the importance of rewarding good behavior and hopes to build a stash of new toys and yummy treats to help Riley adjust to his schooling in how to be a good boy.
