Violet is one of the TX 12 dogs rescued from a puppy mill, when law enforcement shut down the illegal drug distribution arm of the owners' business. Violet is currently nursing four 3-week old puppies. She has heartworm and intestinal parasites she's being treated for. She is a fabulous mama dog, caring for her babies with all the love and attention anyone could wish for!

Her foster mom says she just loves getting outside from time to time and smelling the air and running around the yard. Yet when it's time to come in, she and Iris are always ready to leave their play and get back to the hard work of raising those puppies!
