Some of you might think you recognize this cute Frenchie face, and you’d be right: Zak is back.
Zak was adopted from FBRN at the beginning of the year by a great family, but it turns out that they were not able to handle this big bully boy, though they tried very hard to make it work. Zak was tearfully returned to FBRN’s care.
Currently, Zak has currently reverted to “large and in charge” status, which is not very attractive—and could become unsafe. It included not playing well with others and exhibiting sometimes aggressive resource guarding. Zak must have a home with extremely strong leaders, which his current foster home will provide. He is going to be working on relearning his manners and where his place is in the pack. H does love being part of a pack in his foster home, so we are hopeful that his re-education will turn this bossy boy around.
