In Memory of Sasha

January 29, 2002 - December 13, 2006
Sasha came to our lives when she was only 3 months old; we fell in love with her from the beginning. During her short stay she gave us love, company, and endless precious moments. She was the other kid in the family. Sasha was a girl that enjoyed being with her family watching TV, asking to play, asking for a cookie, snoozing on the couch; taking the sun. The word “walk” could not be mentioned out loud since she knew the meaning and she would go crazy; when the time was the right one, as soon as she heard “Sasha, do you want to go for a walk?” she would go downstairs to get ready and made sure the entire neighborhood knew she was outside. She understood “dinner time” meant she would go and sit down next to Dad's chair. Sasha used to sleep with us and when she wanted to go underneath the covers, she scratched mom's shoulder. We will always miss her asking for fresh water (sometimes at 2AM) or standing up in front of her cookie container and looking at the wall. When she finished eating, she would let us know so we could give her a cookie.
During winter, she asked for the fireplace to be on.

She was too young, and it is too hard to accept the fact that we lost her so soon and so unexpectedly; she was our very beloved kid.
Sashi, the house feels empty without you walking around; or without hearing you snoring and making other funny or smelly noises. We miss you, Sasha. You will always be our little girl and will always have a special place in our heart; we hope you are enjoying taking the sun at Doggie Heaven. Please try to share your cookies.
Love, Aurora, Veronica and Rony Santis
