In Memory of Tillie

We sadly report that Tillie has crossed the Bridge. Tillie came to us 3 and a half years ago, and was to be an easy first foster for a new volunteer. The vet reported, however, that Tillie had a recurrence of a mast cell cancer and was not expected to live more than a few months. Our new volunteer applied to keep Tillie, and cared for and loved her so well that Tillie’s life was extended three more years. Tillie was a symbol of hope and a great favorite among FBRN supporters and volunteers. Our deepest gratitude and sympathy go out to her mom and family.
