In Memory of Verbal

Gasconade Vermeer CD (Verbal) earned his CD in just three trials. That became the basis for his getting a job: Therapy Dog with the organization "Pets for Life." He visited nursing home residents and quickly became their favorite canine visitor, and that work became his favorite activity next to meals and napping. Taken from us too soon at age 5, he left a big hole that will never be filled. Though there is already a successor whom we adore, thanks to the generosity of a dear friend, there will never be a replacement for Verbal.
