In Memory of Dory

Dory came to us with a stack of cards already dealt against her, yet she was sweet and clever. She was her foster dad's constant shadow with her tiny 16 pound under-developed frame.
Dory was named after our favorite pastime, boating. With our larger than life frenchie, appropriately named Tugboat, Dory was his little Dory, always just one step behind.
Immediately, she made herself part of the gang, sleeping in the bed with us and going wherever we went. We loved her, yet we pitied her; her obvious struggle to simply breathe troubled us greatly.
Dory will be missed but not forgotten. When you look out at the bay or think of the Puget Sound, remember Dory, she is tugging along with the other frenchies on the beach over the Bridge.
