In Memory of Maisy

I'm heartbroken to report that Maisy died this morning at the age of 13. She was diagnosed with an abdominal tumor yesterday, and we had planned to have exploratory surgery on Monday to determine whether it was operative. Overnight, however, she quickly became worse and started having seizures. She passed away in my arms, knowing (I hope) that she was much loved and cherished. I'm happy to say that she had been in good health with no pain or other problems, up until the very end. We had 3 1/2 wonderful years with her and I wanted to thank FBRN for fostering her back to health. My family and I are richer for having had the chance to love Maisy.
