In Memory of Pia

PIA joined our two senior frenchie males in March 2004, and immediately made it clear that she was not going to be bossed around by either Jules or Francois. An independent soul, and half their size at 16 pounds, she was a funny, affectionate little girl, who has had me wrapped around her paw from the day she arrived.

In the past 15 months, Jules, then Francois passed, and PIA was top-dog, and bloomed, although she had only 2 months left after Francois suddenly passed in September.

She was my sleeping buddy, constant smoocher and adoring and adored companion, and we know that she has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, is snuggling with Jules and Francois and is waiting lovingly.

We are devastated at her sudden loss, and will always be grateful for the brief but beautiful time we had to enjoy this sweet soul.

Rest well, sweet PIA...we will love you always.
