In Memory of Sparkylou

My sweet cat, SparkyLou 10/31/93 to 2/3/08

I am sad to say that my furry cat friend of 14 years lost her battle to cancer late Sunday night and passed away peacefully in her sleep. From the time she was a kitten, I knew she was a special character. Even people who didn't like cats, liked Sparky. She loved to play silly games like hiding in plain sight and pouncing on you, she enjoyed watching religious programming, hid small religious items in her cat condo, tapping you on the hand if you didn't pet her quickly enough, and would look up at you with her gorgeous mint green eyes when she had a craving for some treats (preferably meringues).

I will miss her more than words can express.

I thought it was befitting to include a picture of her at her silliest - she was rather portly at the time and somehow got stuck in a picture frame mat!
