* Please do not edit the photo in any way prior to sending it. We will edit it to fit the calendar.

* Email the photo exactly as is. Please do not compress the file at all.

* BE CREATIVE! MOST OF ALL, HAVE FUN AND MAKE SURE YOUR FRENCHIE HAS FUN, TOO!

TIPS FOR PHOTO ENTRIES:

Photos with a seasonal or holiday theme - whether "Traditional" or "Whimsical" will probably receive preference. Take a photo of your frenchie in a stovepipe hat for President's day! Take a photo of your frenchie at a school desk for "Back to school". Plant your frenchie amongst the cabbages for summer, or send us a shot of your chilly frenchie huddled in the snow for January.

Look through your digital albums and see if you already have a nice photo for us to use!

Avoid "blue eye" (the K9 equivalent of "red eye"). Do not allow the camera to flash directly in the dog's eyes. We will not be able to use photos with "blue eye", regardless of how gorgeous the picture. Sorry!

Remember to keep the photo session fun for you and your frenchie.

Include treats. Get down on the floor and shoot from his level. Try to shoot your photos outdoors at a time of day when the natural lighting is good.

Have a helper to get your frenchie's attention! Praise your frenchie lavishly and don't be stingy with rewards. (You know how demanding supermodels can be!)

DON'T FORGET TO WRITE A LITTLE INTRODUCTION FOR US ABOUT YOUR FRENCHIE

What was your frenchie's name in FBRN? What is it now if it has been changed?

When did you adopt him/her? How old is he/she now? And then...

Tell us about your FBRN dog and give us something to work with for a caption for the photo. Where was the photo taken, what were the circumstances, how long have you had your frenchie, what are his turn-ons and turn-offs, how far has she/he come, does he have a silly habit?..... Be creative!

In case your supermodel wins a coveted spot in the calendar:

We may need to contact you. Make sure to include your email address, your name, your frenchie's FBRN name, your frenchie's new name if applicable, and your home phone and cell numbers along with each entry. Thank you!
