“Clover is just an absolute love bug and sweetheart. Her favorite thing to do is whatever you are doing, wherever you are doing it. She just wants to be with you. She is so well-behaved and rides like a dream in a cart or wagon at the store. People are amazed at how gentle and loving she is. She knows no strangers and everyone is her friend. She is a wobbly little hippo with a big heart and an oh-so-charming-and-cute little off-balance trot. Clover is a baby angel who has nothing but love to give and deserves all the love in return. She is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and is going to make a lucky family so very happy and forever loved.”

Story
At seven years old, Clover knows what she likes and what she doesn’t like. She likes napping on laps, sitting on the sunny porch like a portly statue, chewing antlers and bones, and being with other dogs and kids. She absolutely loves little ice cubes, but not quite as much as she loves being with her humans. If she’s allowed to go and be involved, she calls shot gun every time. Clover doesn’t care much for toys or walks and definitely doesn’t like being alone. She would do best with a family who is home most of the time. And she’d probably really like a canine friend for those times when she does have to stay home while her humans go out. She has no experience with cats so we have to say no.
True to Frenchie form, Clover has some skin allergies and is prone to ear infections. Her new family would need to commit to routine medicated baths and ear cleaning. Due to past ear infections, Clover has some problems with balance. To prevent injury, she should not be allowed to jump on and off furniture and should be carried up and down any stairs like the queen that she is. And as most seniors can attest, getting to the bathroom on time can be hit or miss. Clover’s new family must be patient with her as she does have some accidents in the house. Her foster has found a waterproof cover for Clover’s bed is a good idea.
Clover’s foster mom really sums it up when she says, “Clover is just an absolute love bug and sweetheart. Her favorite thing to do is whatever you are doing, wherever you are doing it. She just wants to be with you. She is so well-behaved and rides like a dream in a cart or wagon at the store. People are amazed at how gentle and loving she is. Clover is a baby angel who has nothing but love to give and deserves all the love in return. She is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and is going to make a lucky family so very happy and forever loved.”
