“Georgia is such a special little lady. She’s resilient, gentle, and full of personality – whether she’s trotting proudly on her walks, snuggling in her favorite bed, or making you laugh with her adorable Frenchie snore. She’s been through a lot, but she’s handled everything with grace and a wagging tail. Georgia deserves a home where she’ll be loved, spoiled, and cherished for the sweet companion she is. Whoever welcomes her into their family will be getting a loyal friend and a whole lot of love in a small package.
“My hope for Georgia is that she finds a family that will make her the center of their world. She just wants to love and be loved, and has had health scares and surgeries that will require her adoptive family to be on top of her health and willing to do what is necessary in order to ensure she lives a long, happy life.”

Story
Georgia, sweet Georgia! You’ll have Georgia on your mind all day and night if you adopt this absolute peach of a Frenchie.
Georgia came to FBRN after her previous owner came upon some tough times and was no longer able to provide this sweet girl with the care she needs. And it turns out Georgia did need some extra care, as she was diagnosed with brachycephalic airway syndrome and two mast cell tumors at her initial vet visit. Fortunately, both low grade tumors were removed with clean margins, and Georgia is recovering beautifully. Her new family will need to keep a close eye out for any suspicious lumps and bumps that may pop up in the future, and she may be a candidate for airway surgery at some point in the future.
Georgia also suffers from those dreaded Frenchie allergies, and a sensitive tummy. A special diet and supplements have kept her feeling healthy, as well as regular medicated baths. Along with those spa days, Georgia also needs to have her lady parts regularly cleaned, as her anatomy makes her more prone to UTIs. Finally, Georgia has some plaque buildup on her toofers, and could likely benefit from a dental cleaning.
None of these medical challenges have dampened Georgia’s loving nature and joie de vivre. She is a champion snuggler and first-class cuddler who adores her people. And while most of her day is spent loafing and snoozing, Georgia adores her thrice-daily rambles around the neighborhood (which have also helped her regain her girlish figure!) Chew toys and stuffies are another favorite pastime, and at bedtime Georgia like to unwind by suckling on her beloved piggie or teddy bear.
When it comes to people, Georgia doesn’t discriminate, she loves them all, regardless of shape or size. She has been a sweetheart to the children she’s encountered, but would be perfectly content in an adult-only household as well. Georgia is also a big fan of her fellow canines, but only when she encounters them at home, at the dog park, or in other off-leash situations. On-leash, Georgia is reactive when she sees other dogs, and yodels like an angry velociraptor in that way that only Frenchies can. When on walks, she must be secured in a well-fitting harness (no collar leashes for this girl), and care must be taken to ensure that she steers clear of her canine brethren. And since Georgia has never been exposed to cats, we have to say no kitties.
The ideal home for Georgia is one with another friendly dog and a Frenchie-experienced person (or people!) who know their way around allergies, MCTs, BOAS, and all those other acronyms that disproportionately impact French bulldogs. She would of course prefer that her people are around all day to give her belly rubs and tell her how beautiful she is, but she could also be okay staying at home, so long as she gets a midday potty break and snuggle sesh. She’d make a fine office dog as well, since pretty much the only noise she makes during the day (other than snores) comes from chew toys with squeakers. Georgia is housebroken and crate trained, at least to the point that she enjoys sleeping in her crate (with her beloved pink blanket). Foster mom leaves the crate door open so Georgia can come and go as she pleases, and that arrangement seems to work out for everyone involved.
Georgia isn’t terribly picky about her accommodations. She currently lives in an apartment, which is fine for a dog of her energy level and temperament. Be aware, though, that she gets barky when she looks out her window and sees dogs on the sidewalk below. Also, the fewer the stairs the better, since Georgia overheats easily and is still working on her fitness. (relatable!)
Georgia’s foster mom is understandably head over heels for this sweet senior girl, and tells us: “Georgia is such a special little lady. “My hope for Georgia is that she finds a family that will make her the center of their world. She just wants to love and be loved, and has had health scares and surgeries that will require her adoptive family to be on top of her health and willing to do what is necessary in order to ensure she lives a long, happy life.”
If you think you have the perfect home for our little peach, then don’t delay, fill out an application to adopt and tell us why! Just be prepared to travel, as Georgia is snoring away in a Southern California sunbeam, and will not be shipped.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
