Story
Large and in charge, Jefe is in the house! At 27 pounds and only two years old, he still has some puppy qualities, but he is really a chill old soul. His daily agenda includes an occasional bout of zoomies, daily destruction of squeaky toys and a whole lotta play that will be sure to keep his homies laughing.
Jefe came to FBRN from a shelter in the Midwest after being surrendered by his previous owners for not being housebroken. But since he has been in his foster home, he has only had ONE accident which has not happened again due to gentle correction and a dependable schedule.
He loves all people, cats, dogs and kids – pretty much the perfect Frenchie! He is a happy little dude, entertaining the masses with his antics. This sweet fella has never met anyone he doesn’t absolutely love.
Like any leader of the pack, he loves attention. If he doesn’t get it, he may get bored and start chewing on things – some appropriate and some not. But he is easily redirected. Given his energy, a house with a fenced yard would be best, but he would do well anywhere. Of course, he would love a work from home homie, but also would do just as well at doggie daycare or with a mid-day dog walk.
Jefe is one of those rare Frenchies with no medical issues. Say it isn’t so! Just a bit of salmon oil daily for his dandruff and this boy is ready to go to work.
If you are looking for beautiful boss to take control of your heart, look no further. Jefe is ready to take on the challenge.
Jefe’s foster mom has this to say about him: “Jefe’s hilarious and entertaining demeanor as well as his beautiful smiling face is sure to find a place in your home and heart.”

FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family. Jefe does not mind a good car trip, but does not like getting in and out of the car, so he needs an adopter within 500 miles of Michigan. He is too large to fly.
FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations, and we don’t set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.
