With a heart as big as her namesake, sweet little Aja (“Asia”) is making her debut with FBRN. She was tearfully surrendered because her former family couldn’t afford the necessary medical treatment for her BOAS (brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome). Well she certainly landed in the right place and will be adoption ready before you know it.

This three-year-old brindle beauty has already been winning and warming hearts all over snowy Wisconsin. She gets along with her two older furry foster siblings, the 11-year-old visiting grandson and all the strangers she has met thus far (at least three). She loves playing tug of war, being a bit mischievous and cuddling at nighttime.

Before Aja is ready for her second debut – on the adoption page – she will need to be spayed and undergo surgery to help her breathe better and more safely, not to mention more quietly.
