The United Kingdom has a new Prince George of Wales and FBRN has its own new Prince George. George arrived in FBRN care when his previous owner’s personal situation and George’s expenses weren’t quite lining up. As you know, princes can be quite a handful.
George’s foster mom says he’s a spunky 4-and-a-half-year-old. He loves to be busy, sleeping on top of his create, not in it, and playing fetch with himself, but only with a good squeaky toy, not a tennis ball. Training is well underway. George is food motivated so he is learning quickly to sit, stay, come, go to his crate, and practice his patience when the front door opens. George has never lived with other dogs, so he is learning what it’s like to be part of a pack with his foster fur-siblings.
George arrived with what seems to be a slew of allergy symptoms. He’s scratching, licking his paws, missing some hair, and has draining ears with a yeasty smell. His foster family and vet will work together to get all this under control, so George will be more comfortable.
If you would like to sponsor George, please click on the link above. He’s a real lover and will do anything to get some good scratches and to cuddle up just about anywhere. We all want to see this happy prince find the loving forever home he deserves. George’s foster family is working hard to get him ready.
