Gunnar is the newest little warrior to join FBRN, and he clearly did not get the memo about taking it easy. He was rescued from a DC shelter and immediately upon arriving in foster care, FBRN’s medical team realized he needed to be seen immediately as he was having difficulty walking. He was diagnosed with cervical IVDD and had emergency surgery.

Since then, Gunnar has been busy showing everyone what resilience looks. In just a matter of days, he is brighter, more comfortable, and already hinting at the happy, mischievous personality waiting underneath. He still has healing to do, but his glow up is well underway.
