Please give a warm FBRN welcome to Henne! This beautiful freckled girl has quite the journey ahead of her, but we’ll be with her every step of the way, and we know you will, too!

Henne’s family lovingly surrendered her to FBRN so she could get the medical care she needed. Henne suffered a severe back injury, and underwent emergency spinal surgery on the day of her intake. It’s too early to tell whether she’ll regain mobility and bladder control, but if anyone can do it, it’s Henne! Despite everything she’s been though, Henne hasn’t lost her sunny personality and loving disposition. Plus, she’s got a serious determined streak; some might say stubborn, but you didn’t hear that from us.

Foster mom reports that Henne settled into her new digs in no time at all, and that she is quintessential Frenchie—equal parts sweet and sassy. She’s an absolute doll-baby in most respects, but boy howdy does she give some side-eye when it’s time to take her meds!

Henne’s surgery was expensive with a capital $, and she has a long recovery ahead of her.
