Summer is the season for fresh peaches and cream, so there’s no better time to introduce FBRN’s newest senior sweetheart, Kate!

Ten-year-old Kate found herself in need of a fresh start after an unfortunate incident where she and a small child were in hot pursuit of a frog. The frog seems to have gotten away just fine, but Kate accidentally nipped the child, and it was agreed that she would be rehomed for everyone’s safety.

After an epic road trip from Texas to Louisiana, Kate has settled into her foster home and is charming the daisy dukes off of everyone she meets. She has shown no signs of aggression with either people or dogs (although Kermit and his buddies may want to lie low). Foster mom reports that Kate isn’t so fond of getting up in the morning (girl, we feel you), but once she’s had her breakfast, she’s ready for a day of wrasslin’ with the resident canines and snuggling with her people.
