This beauty was tearfully surrendered by a couple who realized they didn’t have the energy to keep up with the puppy powers to be of Ms. Kona!

This sassy little 6-month-old lady is pure puppy energy. She has the zoomies daily, she loves to play fetch, she has found all the sticks in her foster family’s backyard, and she cannot turn down a belly rub or a human petting her (she actually greets people ‘booty up’ looking for the friendly pets and then rolls over for the belly rubs!).

Kona is NOT shy about using her voice…she lets her foster mom know when she’s missing her and when no one is paying enough attention to her, because she really is a princess and she wants to make sure everyone understands that. She loves her two young human brothers and she can even tire them out some days!

Kona is beautifully crate trained, food motivated, and knows some commands. And she’s almost mastered potty training! Her foster family is working on getting permission to get on furniture and getting her acclimated to new sights and sounds in the home (she’s not too sure about the washing machine or the vacuum – they might be dangerous!).
