Watch out! FBRN has a new little rabble-rouser on its hands. Please welcome, not quite one-year-old, Missy! After several vet visits, Missy’s previous family found out she was not only blind, but also had Glaucoma which caused high pressure, and pain, in her eyes. Missy’s previous family did all they could, but sadly the cost of her medical needs was more than they could handle. They wanted to give her the best life possible and made the difficult decision to surrender her to FBRN.
After coming into foster care the decision was made to remove both of Missy’s eyes to keep away the pain it caused. Her foster mom describes her as “an exceptional little pup” who, at first meeting, you would not know is blind. Missy’s keen senses keep her playing with the best of them. This girl loves to go go-go and run zoomies! She also gives the best cuddles possible when it’s time to settle down for the day.
If you have an extra dollar or two, please consider donating it to Missy. All you need to do is click on the link to sponsor her. Missy can’t see you or give you a wink to show her appreciation, but she’d love to send all her Frenchie kisses your way!
