Meet Rhodes, a pint-sized heartbreaker who arrived with a tearful goodbye from his previous family. Why? Well, after a previous spinal injury (now healed!), let’s just say his bladder has some… timing issues. He thankfully regained his walk, although he does have a bit of a wobble.

So far, Rhodes is the strong, silent type. He’s a bit underweight, which is strange because he eats like he’s training for a competitive hot dog eating contest s we’re working on getting those calories to stick. Yes, his bladder control is a work in progress, but we’re optimistic we can get him on a solid potty schedule. We’re aiming for more paws on the ground and fewer puddles on the floor.

According to his past family, Rhodes is basically a saint: great with kids, other pets, and probably would even help carry your groceries if he had thumbs. So far, he’s completely unbothered by passing dogs and seems to prefer hanging with the guys. He hasn’t met the household kids yet, but we have a feeling he’s going to be a fan favorite once he flashes that sweet face and lets out one of his patented “silent but adorable” looks.
