What’s black and white and cute all over? It’s Sabella!

This three-year-old cutie was sadly surrendered to FBRN because her original family did not have enough time to devote to her care. She’s only been in foster care for a few days now, so we’re still getting to know her, but initial reports are that she is “FREAKING ADORABLE” (that’s a quote from foster mom, all-caps included). She’s a quiet girl who loves naps and snuggles, and she walks beautifully on a leash. Housetraining is a slightly different matter, but no worries—Sabella is both smart and highly food-motivated, so we know she’ll get the hang of it in no time.

Like many Frenchies, Sabella has a history of back issues and allergies, but both are currently under control, and her beautiful black coat is shiny and soft. She tested positive for anaplasmosis, a tick-borne illness, so she’s currently undergoing a course of antibiotics. Once she’s feeling better and has this housetraining thing under control, it won’t be long before she makes her Available Page debut.

She is very sweet, smart and gets along with everyone. She does deal with allergies but with her allergen diet/meds and a fairly quick daily routine, they are currently pretty well managed – she did have hematomas in both ears due to it, which caused her one ear drop, which is funny since her foster brother twin has the same one.

She is working on housebreaking and we are super proud of her but a strict routine is going to be necessary in her new home
