Everyone say “Ahoy!” as precious puppy Sailor cruises onto the foster page. At only four months old, she’s proving to be a force of nature even though she only weighs in at a whopping 2.5 pounds. Sailor was surrendered after she began having seizures, but FBRN and her foster are giving her the best chance at a long and full life!

It’s a good thing Sailor’s foster mom is a spreadsheet afficionado (and who isn’t?) because it helps her keep track of Sailor’s medication regimen, which is working wonders for her so far. Her foster mom says she is 80 pounds of gale-force sass in a tiny body and is 100% a Velcro dog. Sailor has a lot of opinions and is not shy in sharing them with you. She likes snuggles, laps, treats, mealtime, toys, naps and playtime. She dislikes prison, aka her crate or playpen, and having to be alone with her thoughts (us too, Sailor).

Sailor still has a bit of a healing to do but she is ready to go full steam ahead and navigate whatever waves her foster journey throws her way. She will eventually need to be spayed and her medication list doesn’t come cheap.
