Introducing Miss Sora, the little lady with a name as lofty as the sky! Her name means “sky” in Japanese, which fits her perfectly. This eight-year-old darling is a total sweetheart who knows how to work a belly rub and a car ride like a pro. Miss Sora came to FBRN from a loving family who, sadly, couldn’t keep her due to new additions (two-legged and allergy-prone) and a dad who’s often out on the road. With her health needs after two back surgeries, they wanted to make sure she had the very best chance at finding a home that could meet her needs.

And what a trooper she is! Despite her back surgeries, Sora gets around with a bit of wobble but mostly under her own power—her wheelchair only comes out for special occasions! She has a unique fluid-filled bump near her tailbone that we’re keeping an eye on, but in true Sora style, she doesn’t let it dampen her spirits. We’re so excited to see this little star continue to shine with the right TLC and maybe a bit more pep in her step! Keep an eye out for updates on this beauty—she’ll be stealing hearts in no time!
