This 3-year-old charmer has little interest in the world of politics right now, but we can tell you he is excited to make his introduction here. Please welcome Statesmen to FBRN!

Statesmen arrived to FBRN after his previous family experienced a tragic loss. Due to these family circumstances, they made the difficult decision to surrender Statesmen into our care. It is obvious that he was loved and well cared for.

We can happily share that so far, this brindle boy is living up to his name! He is drawn to the small children in his foster household and actively seeks them out for play opportunities. He is unusually active for a French bulldog and enjoys spending a lot of time playing with his toys. He is a passionate chewer and everything is fair game so he does need to be watched closely when roaming free. His personality shines through and he does like to bark and growl playfully during his toy time.

In keeping with his “stately” demeanor, he has only had one accident so far in the house. He is a perfect gentleman when it comes to crating, bathing and car rides. The true trifecta of the perfect gentleman!

Statesmen did have some previous issues with chronic ear infections. At this time, it appears that he may be experiencing some difficulties hearing but we will not know more until he has had the chance to be examined by a vet.
